Indiana University of Pennsylvania students say IUPatty's Day is a Saint Patrick's Day tradition that has grown bigger over the past few years and is not sanctioned by the university. Police responded to about 200 complaints on Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s campus this weekend as students celebrated St. It's that time of year again, IUPatty's. It's the annual St. Patrick's Day celebration at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. This year, the IUPatty's celebrations begin officially on March 19th, 2016. And as usual, students are counting down the days until festivities begin. But, before you "Patty" it up, here's what you'll need: 1. A T-Shirt *The Penn does not endorse any actions or outcomes of “IUPatty's,” or other related events. This weekend was designated by students as “IUPatty's,” a weekend for all IUP students to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, albeit a week late, by taking to the streets and having parties over the course of the weekend.
